Application Process for Volunteers

1. Apply Online
Would you like to become a Pawesome Volunteer? To express your interest and be considered for a placement please complete our quick and easy online volunteer application form. Before applying please read and agree to the Ten Volunteer Commandments and make sure that you know which Go Pawesome Project you are applying for.

2. Application Review
When we receive your application we will review it and contact you – ideally we aim to do so within 48 hours and by phone. This lets us get to know you better and to further discuss the project with you. If you meet our criteria we will issue you with an acceptance letter along with the volunteer terms and conditions.

3. Secure Your Place
After you have received your acceptance from us you will need to secure your place with a deposit. Deposits are due within 72 hours of acceptance. Please make sure you understand our Cancellation Policy before making any payments. Your program fee/deposit can be paid by direct bank transfer if within Australia and international payments are accepted through PayPal or Transferwise.

4. Make Arrangements for your Flight
Flights needs to be paid for by you separate to our program fee. Before booking your flight you will receive instructions regarding airport arrival times. This ensures all team members land at similar times for the airport pick up.

5. Finalize Your Application
We will ask you to send us a copy of your valid passport, proof of education/study, proof of insurance and your flight confirmation along with a few other bits and pieces.

6. Now, Make Your Final Payment
The final payment of the volunteer program fee is due 12 weeks before your start date.

7. YOU’RE READY – See you on the project! Your experience is going to be hands on, rewarding, culturally different and inspirational. We can’t wait to work with you!
